It's a pain, but it will alleviate the issue somewhat until we can figure out a fix. The thing that's causing this is the auto-focus when the flyout loads. Yes, this is partially our fault for putting it in there and fixing a problem some people had with the flyout requiring a few additional clicks to use, but it seems to have sprung this gadget closing problem up, which oddly enough doesn't happen to everyone. Odds are that we'll be removing the command with the next update to this and other gadgets as this problem is worse than the problem the comand is fixing. The pop out window works OK but when I click to see a full story the gadget crashes. This is a bad error that should be fixed. I have the same problem as Jay. The overall news feed seems to load pretty quickly right now, is this an issue that gets better or worse depending on a time of the day or depending on how bad Windows vista Magazie's servers are hit? Very annoying. Especially when the feeds do not load very quickly.
