Just trying to help... when you get around to fixing the "disappears when clicking Show Desktop" problem, the only time it doesn't work is when you're actually TUNED and LISTENING to a channel. If the gadget is idle, it shows up as it's supposed to. Just in case you didn't already know that. Peace.

Johnboy, restart the sidebar application itself. That should get it going again (in Win 7, you can also remove all the gadgets from your desktop and reboot, that should be similar to a restart). We also have instructions for the no sound issue on the website at: http://www.buildagadget.com/Support-Product.php?Code=XM#TopicA4

Had this on Vista, upgraded to Win7 and it worked well there too until yesterday. For some reason, got no sound. Reboot did nothing. Uninstalled gadget by way of the Gadget listing, rebooted, reinstalled and still no sound. This time, I deleted the XML/Data files from the directory, rebooted, reinstalled and now when I log in, ALL my channels are missing. I have rebooted/reinstalled many times with same issue, even clicked the "Refresh Channel List" many times, same issue. HELP! My life is annoyingly quiet now!

Scumbag_Deluxxx, thanks! We're planning to get an update out tonight, there will be a blog post for it, just taking a little time to do some re-writing and testing to make sure everything is working okay.
