That might be possible in the future, though it depends on the space we have in the options panel to add it in and I’m not entirely sure how well it’s going to work with particular searches.

I’ve done some research on the topic, so I’ll say it’s a longshot right now. We’re going to test some stuff out for the next update and see if we can fix it, it’s a longshot, but you never know.

We’ll keep the Dictionary.com search in mind for future updates.

Great work with the gadget! I second what JKP mentioned; it would be great if its possible to select our own executable for the browser… (e.g firefox.exe)

Could you add a search for Dictionary.com/Thersarus as well? Anyway, keep up e good work.

@Platypusser: Thank you for your comment. We’ll consider adding a price comparison engine in the future.

@JKP: I think the reason why the gadget does that is because the top link is an actual anchor link versus the search link which is using the javascript window.open property. I’ll look into a solution on this, though it may actually have something to do with the gadget framework instead of the code.

I like the idea of the gadget, but I am having a problem with it. The button at the top (one with the search engine name) when clicked goes to my default browser (Firefox). The Search button forces IE to open.

i love what you have so far and your willingness to receive feedback. geat idea for the meta-searcher. only thing i think you are lacking is a price comparison engine – could ya add one? keep it up!
