WoW Explorer 1.0.5

Posted in Gadgets, WoW Explorer

We have a brand new iteration of the WoW Explorer gadget for everyone. Mostly run of the mill fixes and upgrades, but here’s a quick list for all those interested:

  • Added WoW-Heroes.com to the search list. Current region and selected realm apply to the search link.
  • Renamed WoW Insider to WoW.com. If you run into issues, just re-select your search engine.
  • Fixed the realm sorting to allow for capital letters.
  • Recompiled the browser flyout so that the resize buttons and functionality are now in the flyout, not in the settings panel.

As always, let us know if you run into any problems or have any questions and we’ll see what we can do. :)

    Hello,

I just wanted to report that the european server emeriss is not shown on the servers list.

Besides that, the add on works like a charm!

    thank you!

  2. Korbas Says:

The latest update fixed everything and added some interesting features!

The next step is to display multiple realms, but even if this will never be done I am completely satisfied by this addon!

    Thank you again!

  3. Blade Says:

I’ve upgraded to windows 7 from XP and I’m just loving this gadget!

Though, would it be possible if you can add these links to the list:
    http://www.wowinterface.com/
    http://wowui.incgamers.com/
    http://be.imba.hu/
    http://www.wow-petopia.com/

    Thanks!

  4. The Staff Says:

Blade, Thanks! We’ll take the links into consideration for the next update.

  5. Rzo Says:

I second Korbas statement about supporting multiple realms. It’s the ONLY thing this gadget needs. Other than that, it’s great!

  6. Zachary Says:

hey do you think you can fix it to change the size or make a resize in it so anyone chant change it to what ever size they want?

  7. The Staff Says:

Zachary, we’re going to look into doing this for future updates.

  8. Digital Racer Says:

    Hi,
Great gadget. Any chance you could port this to the Google sidebar? That would be perfect for my machines that run XP. We had an app for that but the person that was maintaining it dropped out of site.

    Thanks,
    Digital Racer

  9. The Staff Says:

Digital Racer, we will eventually port the gadget over to Google Sidebar, but it may be more likely to get ported to Google Chrome first.
