Melissa,

The "Month" event search seems to be broken right now, but the by day still works for me. If you select by day and highlight the day the event is on it should show the events.

This gadget's really handy except there's one problem! My events don show up in my calendar section! i tried clicking on both 'day' and 'month' but all it display was: no event for this day or no event for this month; I still do see my events in the 'list event' section nevertheless, but that includes alll the events i've set up. Its quite a trouble to alternate between the 2 sections.. and it can be quite ineffective when i just want to keep track of the events happening in that month, like which day the event date falls on.. etc.. really could do some help here! thanks a mil!

Win 7, Up to date. I have uninstalled, downloaded and instelled the gadget again. Time zones west to GMT are displied wrong (east from GMT, Europe for example is OK). Display format Label/Time does not work - removes all added clocs.
I have been using and enjoing this gadget for a long time but now I remove it.

Hi there, same problem here.
Latest Windows updates installed are

KB976264 (03/03/2010)

KB978637 (03/03/2010)

KB979306 (03/03/2010) - this is the most probable one to cause the problem. It fiddles with the time zone feature...

Phil, we've been getting lots of complaints about incorrect time zones since this Tuesday. We're looking into the possibility of a Windows update causing a problem. Since the gadget is reading info back from the sidebar API, if something happens to the API, the gadget can't compensate.

Thanks for the gadget, really good stuff.

My only suggestion would be to add a "fortnightly" recurrence option for events - something I've been trying to find in calendar apps for a whiel now.

Thanks

I am using Date&Time V1.2

I hope you can add more Formatting features for the Label, Date/Time separately. I'd like to see the Label having it's own Font/Size/Color separate from the Date/Time's Font/Size/Color for better reading.

Since you are using XML, why not make it fully customizeable like Left Justified, Center Justified, Right Justified, Label+Date/Time in One-Line (if they can fit) etc..

Mel, most likely. When we did the last upgrade of the gadget, we converted the clock system to read in DST values from the operating system instead of a non-corrected time zone. The data the gadget is reading in is from Windows which is grabbing it's time from time.windows.com. We don't have a way to exclude DST data from the gadget as it seemed that more people would need the correct time rather and a non-DST version and the time zones should be reading in correctly.

It might be possible to turn off DST on the local Windows clock to compensate.
