I’m having no luck with the gadget on a Vista 64 machine. Am running version 1.9.1. XM runs fine with their player, but I would much prefer to use yours. I’ll keep monitoring this site to see if the smoking gun pops up…

Yes, working for me as well. Rolling back to Flash 7 didn’t do a thing for me, so I put 10 back. There have definitely been weird issues on XM’s end the past week or so — and that may be the root of all our problems.

UPDATE: Player is working this morning! Did not make any changes to my computer. Weird Stuff, but glad it working!

Thank you for looking into it. I have followed the instructions, but did not do any good. I’ll just use the web browser to get access for now. I’ll just keep trying it or check for any updates.

David, we’re still looking into additional things to try. Some machines don’t take to the fixes because something else might be out of whack. The biggest problem that we’ve run into with this issue is that no single program is causing the problem, but rather a number of things going wrong from multiple programs and every machine seems to handle it differently.

Before trying Flash 7, I uninstalled and removed all traces of Flash from my system, rebooted, then reinstalled the latest Flash version. I’ve been able to start and stop the gadget a number of times over the past few hours and I haven’t had the “no sound” problem.

Could just be coincidence, of course — but over the past few days I could rarely get sound out of the gadget twice in a row.
