You said, "but since Hybrid Sleep fulfills both requests..." The trouble is, I'm not getting a hybrid sleep out of the gadget. I'm getting hibernate. I'm getting hybrid sleep out of Windows - Shutdown - Sleep, which puts the system to sleep for instant wake-up, but if power is lost, resumes it from disk.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I'll have to play with it for a bit to see if I can do combinations like that. If it's possible, it might happen in a future release where we release an updated set of buttons.

Possible? Maybe. We'll just have to see.
Thanks again.

Good research ! additionally, SystemControl is a great gadget too. I used other similar before, but only with Hibernate option.

I have a suggestion for next versions: In Vista, normally when I lock the computer (now from SystemControl!), I should choose the trick "switch user" in order to allow to have available on the bottom right corner a small droplist menu to Hibernate/Shutdown/etc. I do this because I want to Hibernate+Lock. Do you think is it possible an option Lock+Hibernate together, in order to do both tasks in one-shot ?

Thanks in advance.
