just installed and I like the way it works - a few things to recap what others may be seeing:

1. if I stop the playing - it won't restart - it says "Ceck Connection" and I have to do a reset and relog in

2. it says the name of the channel but has never displayed the song info - it always says "Getting Info"

hope these bugs get fixed

thanks

could you do this patch soon? you have such a good thing going but you are losing my interest with the amount of time it is taking between upgrades.

We're currently working on a patch for the gadget. Working through the back end coding with a fine-tooth comb to try and get it up to snuff. When it's ready, we'll post it up, We are noting the incoming issues, though please be patient as some of these issues are due to the backend code of the gadget, while some issues might be due to security settings and misc. computer settings.

Thanks for all your work, first of all. Works for me and i enjoy using it. Two problems;

1. When I click the link for the channel list, the box opens and the channel numbers appear, but the station names do not. If I pick a channel, it plays fine, and the station info and song info do appear on the face of the Gadget.

2. When I save a favorites list, shut down and, restart, all faves are gone.

If it helps, system info;

Samsung Q1 Ultra (wierd, I know)
Vista Home Preimum
Upgraded tp 2 Gigs

Thanks again

I don't think this gadget installs properly or has some sort of permissions problem. I noticed it never creates a folder in the gadgets folder in "Program Files->Windows Sidebar->Gadgets" if that's any help.

The first time I installed the XMRadio gadget, it worked. Since then, it has never worked again. I've downloaded it again and tried the reset function but it still doesn't work! I have an account with XM and it works from the website but the gadget would be great if only it worked properly.

Hello, I am having these problems that have already been posted here. I just wanted to verify them as actually being a problem, not just a random thing with a select few people.

From Chris - "I downloaded the gadget and it will not accept my user name or password. but if i go to xm directly and log in there it works fine with the same info. will this only work if sign up a new account for the user to get a referal or should it be working?"

From Manchine - "Using version 1.1 Update function doesn’t work for me. Gives the following error.

CONNECTION PROBLEM
Unable To Update Because Of An Internal Error.
Double Check Your Internet Connection And Try Again."

Thanks for making a cool gadget, I hope to be able to use it soon.

Hey,

First off, props for making such a great gadget! This one works lightyears ahead of the other XM gadgets! There is only one feature that it lacks that would make it complete. It needs a way of changing between the "low" & "high" bandwidth settings. I have my PC hooked up to a pretty nice sound system and you can definitely tell the difference between the two. Please let me know if you can help!!

Thanks again!!
