  • Multiple sizes
  • HTML help in the form of links and insert buttons
  • Persistent settings have been moved to a more convenient location

You folks keep putting out the coolest stuff. I love this one!

  2. Jeff Says:

Every time I mouse over it, it throws and error asking me to debug it. Makes most of the functions not work and those that do keep throwing errors.

I really wanto use it, but it’s a little fresh still.

  3. RD Says:

Your download link (not the link display text) for Blogger Buddy from buildagadget has a typo… the link refers to buidagadget, instead of build.

  4. The Staff Says:

Jeff, That is very interesting. We haven’t seen an error like that on the gadget thus far, does it give any more details like a line number or error type?

RD, comments are moderated, so don’t worry if it doesn’t take, we’ll see it. Thanks for the heads up, link should be fixed now. :)

  5. The Staff Says:

Jeff, we added a couple try catch statements to the mix, so if you’re up for it, go ahead and re-download the gadget and let us know if you run into any other difficulties.

We also fixed the HTML links in the help section, they should work now.

  6. Hambone Says:

I like this gadget but have a suggestion and a bug report.

Suggestion > After posting, the SUCCESS is good but leaves me twidling my thumbs. You should have links like “View Blog Now” and “Post Again” and “View Blog List” below it.

Bug > When you use a special character such as an apostrophe in the blog title and then you go to edit it via the Blogger site, it shows the character code. You should fix the interface to interpret these correctly from the start, in html.

  7. The Staff Says:

    Hambone, we’ll look into those.

  8. Jose Says:

My Blogger Buddy won’t display my blogs even though I entered in the correct logon info for blogger.com. What gives?

  9. The Staff Says:

Jose, that’s odd. We’ll have to take a look into that and see if we can replicate the issue.

  10. Age Says:

Very slick indeed, I especially like the fast preview. Tag support would be awesome but it’s not a big issue.

    Great work!

  11. Liz Says:

i would like support for tags too and a better url tool. gadget is great though.

  12. ProstateCancer Says:

    Cheers !!

  13. The Blue Buddha Says:

I’ve been using Blogger Buddy for at least 10 minutes and I really like it :)

    Quick wishlist:
    - possibility for BB to collapse to its title bar when not used (would save an awful lot of space)
    - tag support

    Thanks

  14. Matt Says:

I just downloaded the latest version of blogger buddy. Every time I click on it, I get a message asking me to debug it. It says the following:

    “Error
A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug?

    Line:9
    Error: Object expected
    ——————————————–

I have still been able to use it, although I click on it, choose “no” to debug then click on it again and that action works. If I want to post something I just wrote, I have to do it again….click it, say “no” to debug, then click it again. This would be a gadget I would use often, if it gets the kinks out.

  15. The Staff Says:

Matt, we’re going to look into that bug for the next update. In the meantime, disabling script debugging in Internet Explorer should fix the problem temporarily.

I’ve been using Blogger Buddy, it’s easy.

    Thanks for cool stuff.
