We have completed a version of Market Watcher that combines the previous data feeds into a comprehensive overviews of the markets, metals, and energy futures. This extension also denotes whether the markets are open or closed in the popup.

This is a quick update to the last version to add in propane gas to the feed.

We recently ran into some problems with data sourcing that caused this extension and parts of the OPM and Market Monitor gadgets to stop working. Currently, we have patched in a new data source for the extension that while it’s a little bit less data, still covers the most generally viewed areas.

This version fixes the innerHTML null problem caused by a rogue debug command running into parsing problems. Some users may not see every notification as a result because this update places try / catch commands around key code in the parsing function, but we will work on having more complete parsing in the future. This should at least get everyone seeing the majority of their notifications if not all of them.
