Hey everyone, wanted to get this out as soon as possible. Version 1.5 is more of a set of quick bug fixes, but it’s important enough to get out to everyone.
Fixes
Aside from that, we continue to crank away at this gadget’s stability, so feedback is appreciated.

Some of you may have noticed a bit of sprucing up around here, we just completed a set of upgrades to the overall site, but most especially to the blog over the past day and half. Some of the changes are obvious (see the new share button?), some less so (new plugins!). We’ve even gone and redone our contact form so it’s less confusing to use and looks better to boot.
In other news, we have opened ourselves up to doing commission work for Vista gadgets (for the time being). If you have a good idea and are willing to pay for it, send us an e-mail through the request form and we’ll be happy to get you a quote. Please note that this is for Paid work, so keep your non-paid ideas in here as it were. We do still consider ideas to do even if we’re not being paid, so by all means, let us know what you’re thinking.
There will be more as we go along, for now, it’s time to work on a few other projects and begin coming up with bug fixes for the XM 1.4 gadget.
So we’ve been working on a few new things for the next version of the gadget. And after the results came back that the testing computers did Not in fact, burst into flames, we decided to unleash this wonder on the world (yet again). Why is 1.4 special? Why is 1.4 cool? Come friends, let us show ye the ways…
Features
There are a couple minor little things here and there in addition to the above list, but for the most part, this is the biggest set of changes we’ve rolled out for this gadget. People who want low bandwidth options have them (Stream control, auto-preview), picky people get new stuff (channel flyout options, favorites management), and everyone else gets the cools stuff too (collapsible channel groups, search flyout via artist name, etc.). Have fun with this update, let us know if there are any bugs, comments, suggestions, improvements, etc.
Thanks!

After extensive listening, it was determined that this gadget wasn’t badass enough. Therefore, we have made provisions. The backend has had some more revisions made to it for stability but mainly for speed. The “Getting Info” issue should more or less be resolved for the majority of users.
There is a small addendum for that though: Because of the way XM updates it’s feeds, if you see the wrong artist list on the currently playing song, it’s actually for the next track and the current track has less than 20 seconds left. Kind of odd right at the start, but we figure better the regular feed than waiting 10 seconds into the next song to figure out who’s playing.
Here’s a List of Features:
Overall, it’s a pretty decent update. Have at it and let us know if there’s any major issues.

P.S.: The Update Feed will be has been updated. Gadget is online at Live.com Gallery as well.
Greetings! We know we don’t post much these days aside from updates (which we’re sure you love or hate), but we wanted to extend our wishes for a Happy New Year to everyone and give you all a brief list of what we’re up to:
So from all of us here at the office to all of you out there at home, let’s hope that 2008 is much better than 2007 was.
