This is an uncommon problem that occurs on some people's machines due to the flyout self focus commend used to make sure that the flyout doesn't deselect on opening (which sadly, is a much more common problem).

If you run into this problem, the best fix for it currently is to set your results to be viewed in the browser instead of the flyout. If you have trouble with the summary flyout, you can set the gadget to skip it in the settings panel as well.
